24/7 Championship: Riddick Moss (c) vs. Cedric Alexander
Moss immediately explodes into giant shoulder blocks! Alexander tries to leap from the second rope at Riddick but he catches him out of the air, Fallaway Slam sends him hurdling into the corner and he collapses to the floor! Pulls Cedric back into the ring, covers him for 2. Cedric gets him with a Jawbreaker, big combination of strikes of kicks. Push kick from the apron, springboards in for a Facebuster for a nearfall! Cedric wants a springboard but Moss clips him and he bounces hard on the top rope! Charging shoulder thrust in the corner, Neckbreaker Driver for the victory!
Winner: Riddick Moss
Riddick works really, really well with guys smaller than himself, no question. Looked real good out there. Says “Get used to it, I’m going nowhere”!
After a commercial break, we just… have MVP in the ring now, talking crap on the crowd. Says he’d rather be in any other city. Says they’re barely even a state, just a little dot on the map. MVP says that he’s here because this year, he transitions from an in-ring competitor to an absolute braniac. In order to build his stable, he needs a solid foundation. And he’s going to build his stable around someone like… Edge.
He says that he and Edge go way back. And Edge is that dude. But sometimes he has a little trouble with focus. Says that with his help, he can make Edge into a champion again. In the parking lot, we see Edge roll up! He rushes through the backstage, to the ring and swipes the mic from MVP to demand that Randy Orton grow a set and come out to face him right now! He glares furiously at the stage. Montel says that’s just what he was talking about, Edge can’t stay focused on the right things. Speaking of which, how’s your wife?
Edge freezes, slowly turns around… spears the hell out of MVP! But Randy Orton was lying in wake, immediately jumps him from behind… but no, Edge lays him out with an RKO! Stealing his own maneuver! Edge goes outside, gets two steel chairs! But Randy slips out of the ring to avoid the Conchairto! So instead, Edge chokes out MVP… RKOs him onto a chair! Sets him up on it and takes his time grabbing the other! “Conchairto” chant I think? Edge says, “This is you, Randy” before nailing MVP with the Conchairto! “One More Time” chant and Edge obliges, hitting a second Conchairto and staring Orton down! Orton turns and leaves and Edge gives chase up the ramp and to the back!
