Ikeman Jiro recently claimed a major victory on WWE NXT, when he was able to shut up the big mouthed Javier Bernal. However, he had no chance to enjoy this victory, as he was blindsided by the mysterious SCRYPTS – who went as far as to steal the jacket of Jiro. We still have no clear idea of what the plans of SCRYPTS are in NXT – but he meets Ikeman Jiro in a one on one contest here tonight.
SCRYPTS Takes The Fight To An Angry Ikeman Jiro
Jiro looked more serious than ever hitting the ring tonight – no longer in the mood for jokes and playing with his jacket. SCRYPTS would dive into the ring still wearing the jacket of Jiro. Jiro would send SCRYPTS right to the floor, and nailed a massive dive over the top rope.
Back into the ring, Jiro would show some strong style as he would ground and pound SCRYPTS in the middle of the ring. A launching sunset flip was blocked, with SCRYPTS backflipping into a dropkick. SCRYPTS would hit a sliding dropkick, getting a two count. Headscissor would be applied, with Jiro breaking free and hitting a massive back body drop.
Some strong Shotei Palm Strikes would follow, before a driving knee strike for a two count. SCRYPTS would hit a twisting crossbody, but Jiro avoided the running Shooting Star Press. Jiro hit a kick to the head in the corner before taking the Molly Go Round out of a corner for the finish.
Lyra Valkyria Soars On NXT Once Again
Lyra Valkyria was successful in her NXT debut, taking down rising star Amari Miller. However, she has a potentially much bigger problem on her hands tonight as she faces the physically imposing Lash Legend. Legend has been off TV for a few months now, which has given her a chance to improve her skills in the WWE Performance Center and stew with her anger – which could be a big problem for Valkyria tonight.
Legend would immediately focus on using her power, throwing Valkyria aside before a jumping lariat in the corner. An elbow drop to the back would follow, getting a two count. Valkyria would send Legend to the floor for a wrecking ball dropkick, before taking a big backbreaker in the ring. Legend would miss the running handspring moonsault, before being dropped with a series of lariats.
A twisting DDT would take Legend down, before the flying splash for the big victory. Taking down Legend is never an easy task, but Valkyria was up to the challenge.
