It’s been teased that the Hook will make an appearance this week in some way, shape, or form, and ‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers are thinking she’ll appear and attack Britt as she welcomes in the new year.
This is a popular theory among fans and it makes sense, though it’ll throw a wrench into any plans or theories behind the Hook targeting Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Will Britt’s Decision to Stay in Port Charles be her Last?
Of course, that could be part of the plan for the Hook, and it’d make Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud)’s plans a little more complicated.
We think she’s not just planning to disappear, but to fake her death so it’s a clean break for everyone, except Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and that could be a sticking point.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Tempted to stay
With all the love and support she’s been seeing, Britt’s going to be tempted to stay in Port Charles, and the biggest push will come from Austin.
He’ll ask her to reconsider her plans, and him knowing she plans to leave could make the idea of faking her death, though she may not see it.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers expect Britt to give into the pressure and stay, or at least be tempted to, and this is where things will get interesting.
To really ramp up the drama, Britt could decide to stay with her friends and family, and then in a moment where she’s alone the Hook attacks her.
It’ll be a twist that was unexpected since she has no real ties to Trina and it was expected she’d head off into the sunset.
This would also add to the feels from her friends and family when they learn she was killed and it’ll give Austin a great stage to weigh if he should share what he knows
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: A red herring?
There’s also the strong likelihood this is a red herring and the Hook will strike elsewhere.
While that’s likely, we suspect the implication that the Hook was watching Trina and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is the red herring.
It makes sense they’ll want to divert attention away from the real victim, or there may not be an attack at all and Britt gets to take her debate into a new week while we’re left with the tease of there being something more.
The only downside to this is Britt’s going to leave one way or the other and we’re going to miss the Britch. She was a lot of fun.
