Impact Wrestling Results returned as Mickie James talked about her career and how she came up in the business and how working with Raven and Jeff Jarrett before getting a chance to go to the WWE.
She talked about working with Trish Stratus and how they meshed and it really got her career started and launched her career.
When she left, she had a soul searching moment before returning to Impact, and how she created her Hardcore Country persona was born and then how she met Nick Aldis.
From her iconic rivalry with @trishstratuscom to Hardcore Country to The Last Rodeo – @MickieJames has been one of the defining women's wrestlers of a generation. But it could all come to an end in a Title vs. Career match against @JordynneGrace on January 13 at #HardToKill. pic.twitter.com/1HV1dy36gt

If she hadn’t lost her dream and left the WWE, she never would’ve gotten the new opportunity to thrive and have a family.
She was grateful to have another run in WWE, but it wasn’t the end of her career she envisioned and she came back to Impact to end things right.
A tribute to Don West followed as current and former stars talked about him and how much he meant to them and their careers.

This was done right and brought a tear to our eye when everyone talked about how much he inspired them.
Thank you for everything, Don. RIP
Matt Cardona w/Brain Myers vs. Chris Sabin w/Alex Shelley
This is the first time Sabin and Cardona are facing each other one on one, and it started out with Sabin using his speed to stay a step ahead and hit an arm drag that caused Cardona to complain about his previously injured left arm.
Myers grabbed Sabin’s foot while Cardona distracted the ref, and Cardona sent him to the floor and hit a kick through the ropes.
Cardona went for a power bomb on the ramp, but Sabin blocked it and backdropped him onto the ramp. Cardona used his size advantage to throw Sabin into the turnbuckle and followed it with three neck breakers for a near pinfall.
Sabin dropped him off the ropes with a dropkick and went on a run that included hanging Cardona in the Tree of Woe to hit a running dropkick, but Cardona raked his eyes and sent him into the ring post.
.@SuperChrisSabin and @TheMattCardona are going to battle in singles competition for the first time ever RIGHT NOW on #IMPACTonAXSTV! pic.twitter.com/5Rgk4G6kGT

Sabin countered a Reboot by backdropping Cardona over the top rope and to the floor, but Cardona got back into the ring where they traded moves until Sabin hit a Tornado DDT.
Myers distracted the ref and Shelley chased him into a boot by Sabin, and Shelley held the roped open for Sabin to hit a dive on the Major Players.
Sabin survived two Reboots for a pin attempt, and they traded dropkicks before Sabin hit a Cradle Shock for the win.
Bully earned his name
Bully Ray appeared in the Impact Zone out of the fans, and he grabbed a chair after being told not to come into the Impact Zone until Hard To Kill.
After threatening Hanifan, Bully demanded a microphone and climbed into the ring to demand Josh Alexander come to the middle of the ring or he’d start cracking skulls with a chair.
Scott D’Amore came out instead, and Bully dropped and kicked the mic at him, so Scott grabbed another one after kicking it back.

Scott mocked him for calling Josh out since Bully knows he’s not there. He talked about how Bully called him about being a changed man and Scott hoped he did, but knew there was a chance he hadn’t.
He wanted to give Bully the same opportunity he had to rewrite his story, but instead of a redemption story it’s a cautionary tale about what happens when one is obsessed and willing to do everything possible to get ahead.
Scott talked about Josh has his live and respect whether he wins or loses, but Bully has nothing waiting for him and that’s worse than any punishment anyone can give him.
Bully said it won’t make him sad because he’ll be a three time champion, and called Scott a sucker and they slapped the mics out of each other’s hands.
He dared Scott to punch him, and Scott told him he spent five years to cultivate a locker room to make the world better, but there’s no reason he needs to follow that lead and he nailed Bully and spit on him.

Skylar and Hotch came out and grabbed Scott, and Bully dropped him with a boot and then hit a piledriver.
Hotch and Skylar grabbed a table and Bully set it up. They set Scott on Bully’s shoulders and her power bombed Scott through the table.
Bully then introduced himself as the next Impact World Champion.
This was a fun show and confrontation to close it out. What did you think of it? Let us know in the comments below and thank you for joining Impact Wrestling Results.
We had a blast and can’t wait for next week.
