Now that the truth is coming out about Willow Tate (Katelyn MacMullen)’s illness, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will have to deal with the fallout from her selfishness and lies and ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers are looking forward to seeing how stiff the paybacks will be.
There’s no denying that her actions were purely selfish and she knew it, but more than that, it’s uber hypocritical as she’d never allow anyone to make decision on her life, and she raised Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to be the same way.
But because she hates Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) so much, she repeated the mistake she made with Nina when she learned Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) was Nina’s daughter.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Setting a new standard
In many ways, Carly’s even surpassed Nina’s lies from Nixon Falls since Nina never tried to pay anyone off to protect her secret.
Sure, Nina tried to hide it, but she also encouraged Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to find his own family numerous times. That’s something Carly never did.
She even managed to match Sonny’s decision by not telling anyone something they had a right to know. Sonny was waiting for the right time to tell them about Nina and that was taken from him.
Carly admitted to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) that she never intended to tell Willow who her mother was.
And now she’s going to face the consequences of her actions.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Turning of the tide
Carly keeps losing sight of the fact Willow had every right to know who her mother was as soon as she started her search. It doesn’t matter if she was sick or not.
And now, Willow’s going to have to come to terms with everything nasty she said about Nina and realize she fell into another cult of hate.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers are curious how she and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will react to this news. As much as Carly will feel betrayed at not being told Willow is sick, they’ll feel just as betrayed by her lying to them.
Of course, they’ll forgive her because they’re like minded and all in. But we doubt Drew will forgive the multitude of lies thrown at him.
One of the biggest questions will be will Willow accept Nina as a donor, or will her hate override her desire to live? And if she does, how fast will she and Carly spin it so that Nina’s only doing this to get close to her grandson?
And add to it that Sonny’s going to disprove Michael’s myth that he’s a horrible and unfeeling human being by doing everything possible to help Willow, and things are going to get complicated.
Carly’s house of cards coming down is going to open up plenty of fun storyline opportunities, and we can’t wait to see how they all play out.
