‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re all set to dive into some fun spoilery goodies to keep things rolling.
There’s plenty of fun coming our way in this episode, and we have plenty of popcorn on tap as sides will be chosen and battle lines may be drawn. Let’s get to the goodies!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, January 17: Caught in the middle
Things are going to get interesting thanks to plans and counter plans, and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) is going to find himself caught in the middle of one argument, and chances are he’ll find himself in the middle of another one with his mother.
He’s going to walk in as Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) will be arguing over Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)’s stealing from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
Summer will be worried about the legal ramifications Jack could bring to them to help Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), and this will push Summer further into Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)’s camp.
Daniel will want to know what’s going on since he’s heard Summer and Phyllis’ side of things, and he’ll confront Jack.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, January 17: Jack admits his guilt
Jack won’t have much of a choice but to fill Daniel in on what they’re doing for Diane, and he’ll be the first one to point out that Phyllis is responsible for Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) being in Genoa City.
It’ll be the first time Daniel will hear that Phyllis contacted Stark and planted the idea that Diane turned on him to save herself from jailtime.
This will give Daniel pause, and will have him siding with Jack and Kyle over Summer and that won’t go over very well.
It’ll get even worse for him when Phyllis finds our and questions once more why so many don’t share in her blind hatred and have to use rationale when dealing with things.
As for Summer, she’s going to have to figure things out as to which side she’ll be on, and we have no doubt that Jack and Kyle won’t pressure her. Phyllis on the other hand will rely on her usual guilt trip.
Though to be fair, Phyllis may not realize she’s doing what she’s doing due to her tunnel vision.
With plenty of ways this storyline could go, we’re stoked to see what’s next and we have plenty of popcorn on hand for the coming twists and turns.
