Marlena Evans (Diedre Hall)’s condition is going to continue to deteriorate, but she’s going to have her loved ones nearby so they can all at least see her one last time. Let’s dig in!
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Thursday, January 19: Belle returns home
Homecomings in Salem aren’t happy ones at the moment, and Belle Black (Martha Madison) will be the latest to arrive to see Marlena and do her best to help her beat the toxin.
We expect Belle’s arrival to be multi layered as she’s going to be dealing with several emotions, including not being in Salem for Marlena’s last Christmas.
One thing that’s struck us as odd is how much longer it’s taking for the toxin to kill Marlena. For Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) it looked like it took hours, or a couple of days.
There’s also been a lot more exposing about Marlena’s accomplishments and how much she’s meant to everyone than there was about Kayla and Kate, and it has ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers wondering if Diedre is going to retire soon.
According to the season spoilers, the three women will have a heavenly mission that could have them return to the land of the living, but with Kate being cremated it’s going to be interesting what plans are in the works.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Thursday, January 19: Kristen tries to run away
With her plan thwarted and everyone lining up to get a piece of her, including her own family, Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk) is going to take off and she’ll try to take Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) with her.
We suspect she got the idea from Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and will me more than happy to stick it to Brady. And of course, she’s doing it because she’ll never see Rachel again, but we suspect hurting Brady is part of her reasoning as well.
We doubt she’ll get very far with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) teaming up and going after her, but she does have a healthy head start.
Things are going to get dicey before they get better, and we don’t see Kristen giving up her daughter without a major fight.
