40-year-old Kris says “We both wanted to get married as soon as possible, and this was the first date the venue had,” about why they couple decided to tie the knot only nine days after seeing face-to-face. Kris continues, “I’m not nervous at all about doing what everybody else thinks is crazy.”

She goes on to share why she thinks her relationship with her 30-year-old Jeymi is also a huge personal accomplishment, and not just a love story. “I’ve waited 40 years to be openly in a relationship with a female,” she says. “I don’t want to wait any longer. So, I have decided to move to Bogotá.”
Kris lives in her mother’s house with her two children, Starr, 23, and Dayne, 18 – in America. Her children visits with her as she arranged trinkets, cake pans and some of their personal items for a garage sale. The mother of two confirm that her children support her romance with Jeymi, although they have their reservations, especially about her moving across the world. “I do worry about you being over there,” Starr says.
Her sibling Dayne agrees with her that the rush to the altar is “definitely gonna be wild.” “Not something I’d do,” Starr admits. However, their mum has made up her mind -regardless of her kids’ opinions. “I got pregnant at 16,” the mom of two says. “The very first time I had an intimate relationship. I’ve lived for my children, but now it’s time for me to have my own life.” Fans will watch and see how this romance will play out.
