‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
It looks like there’s going to be another power struggle in Newman Enterprises and the family, and they’re going to pull Jabot and the Abbotts into their feud. Without further ado, let’s dive into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, February 1: Adam’s playing chess
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is going to get a reminder that he’s not a Newman when his plans to set up Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) backfire spectacularly.
To be honest, this isn’t surprising, but expected Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to be the one to burn Kyle, but it’s going to be Adam’s maneuvering that’ll save his job and expose their plans.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expect this to be an interesting conversation as Adam will put the info from Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to good use and go to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) with the details.
We don’t think Kyle will lie to Jack, and he’ll feel he was doing what’s best for Jabot, but it’ll spark a confrontation between them and shine a light on Kyle’s current issues with trusting Jack.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, February 1: Extending an olive branch
In what will most likely be a copy and paste scene we’ll see play out a few more times, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will try her best to mend things with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
The problem here is Devon has drawn a line in the sand and has refused to budge unless he gets his way. He’s making it personal because his company is personal to him, and we don’t see him backing down for long.
There will be a few moments where he regrets where their relationship is, but we don’t expect it to last until he has an epiphany or someone helps him separate business from personal.
Until then, things are going to remain contentious between them unless they figure a way through this.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, February 1: Victoria defends her position
In a curious twist, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will once again have to deal with having her father question her mindset for not wanting Adam back in the Newman Enterprises.
Victor will give his usual spiel about wanting the family to work together even if they’re miserable because it’s his wish and their free will doesn’t matter and so on.
Despite all of the points Victoria will make, her argument will fall on deaf ears, and she could find herself in one of Victor’s manipulations by using Adam in the CEO chair if his plans work out.
