Jen Boecher has defended her lover Rishi Singh following backlash he received for calling himself the Indian Jesus.

Rishi hails from Jaipur in India and takes pleasure in his long hair. So much so that when he was discussing his haircare routine, he stated how he gets those comparisons.
Unfortunately, his admirers did not share the same enthusiasm, going so far as to compare him to Kody Brown. Here, we can observe a side-by-side picture of both, who possess very similar long, curly hair.
One person at the time said: “I think he looks more like Indian Kody Brown,” while another remarked: “For someone that spends an hour and a half on his hair it really doesn’t look that great.”
That is why Jen wanted to clear up any misunderstandings that may have emerged by giving some much-needed context to the matter.
In her comments, she said: “Just to clarify, Rishi is NOT comparing himself with Jesus. Foreigners [had mentioned] his appearance resembling traditional depictions of Jesus.”
In addition to the issues caused by the cultural differences, Jen and Rishi may face difficulty in convincing his family to accept their desire to be together forever.
Rishi originates from a conventional background, and his relatives may lean towards him marrying someone of their choosing. Likewise, the substantial age gap between Jen and Rishi could be unacceptable.
Furthermore, if either one of them would like to have children, this could be a problem. As well as this, there might be issues with relocating since Jen is intent on moving to India at some stage.
But in the meantime, Jen was shown that she will continue to stick by Rishi’s side. Her following comments confirmed as much: “And if Rishi were making such a ridiculous claim Jesus would forgive him and get on with his life’s work.”
