‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers love how so many characters just can’t stay out of trouble, and they all usually have the best of intentions.
Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is one of the few that rarely has nefarious designs, but his code of ethics usually leaves him on the outside looking in when it comes to relationships.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Should Hamilton Finn Accept Confirmed Bachelorhood?
While his current relationship with Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) is up in the air due to some complications that arose with Liz’s past and accidentally having a hand in his wife’s death, things could get a lot worse.
Finn has a habit of trying to help even when he’s told repeatedly to back off or mind his own business. We understand his mindset as he wants to help and being a doctor makes the desire more intense.
That trait will once again put their relationship at risk.
“General Hospital” Spoilers: Always trying to help
While Liz is willing to give herself up to the police for her actions, Finn will try to ensure she doesn’t go to jail and the weight of taking care of her family falls on Cameron Webber (William Lipton)’s shoulders.
To do that, he’s going to risk crossing that line between supporting her and violating her trust when he seeks legal advice from Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Granted, given everything that’s going on, Liz may be grateful for him taking these steps since she feels lost in what to do and her guilt is crushing her.
But there’s also the potential risk Alexis isn’t an attorney, so there’s no privilege to protect him. On the plus side, it’s a “theoretical” discussion and problem, but there’s a chance Alexis could see a juicy story and may decide to look into things herself.
However this works out, ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers doubt Finn will come out on the winning side despite his best efforts.
And with this being the second time he’ll step over the line Liz keeps reminding him of, we don’t a chance for them to get back together and their friendship may be strained beyond repair.
All of this follows his failed relationship with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) where there were too many secrets for his liking among other things, and it looks like he’ll be better off becoming a confirmed bachelor to protect his heart, if nothing else.
We doubt he’ll find someone in Port Charles that’ll be as open and honest as he wants them to be, and that will lead to a lot more heartbreak for him.
