‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers are all set to keep things rocking and rolling in Port Charles, and we’re going through a lot of popcorn the last day or so and don’t expect things to let up just yet. With so much happening at once it’s best not to blink, but someone’s got to unpack everything so let’s dive in!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Wednesday, February 22: Giving it away
Despite being hooked, Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) will want to return to Wyndemere to help Ava Jerome (Maura West), but we think there’s another reason.
While he’s concerned about her, we can’t help but wonder how good a job did he do in hiding/taking care of Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss)’s body.
He may want to do what he can to ensure the police don’t find him during their manhunt, or at least keep them away from the stables.
On the other hand, he may not even be thinking about Nikolas and be solely concerned about Ava. The only obstacle in his way is Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), and we’re curious what he’ll tell her to avoid getting himself or Ava into more trouble.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Wednesday, February 22: Always the father
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) have dominated the screen as they came to terms with her lie, and now it’s Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) turn.
In a twist in the current theme, ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers doesn’t expect Taggert to rip into Portia like everyone else has.
Instead, he’ll ask what’s going on to hear it from her, and then he’ll declare that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is his daughter.
He’s not wrong since he is her father in all of the important categories, but we have a feeling this will touch off a mini war between Taggert and Curtis over who is what in Trina’s life.
We don’t think Curtis will want much out of it, but if he is her father he’ll still respect Taggert while wanting his rights respected, and that could be the focal point of any argument.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Wednesday, February 22: Ryan’s at Ava’s mercy
Ava isn’t shy about her intentions toward Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) now that she has the chance to end his plague once and for all.
She’s about to shoot him as her finger was pressing the trigger, but we don’t think she will. Someone will come in and stop her, and it’ll leave a victorious Ryan alive to taunt her about knowing her secret about Nikolas.
There’s a chance she will kill him, but we don’t think so. The show likes bringing him back too much, and now that this storyline is all but wrapped up, they’ll put him on ice until the next time they need a bad guy and break the glass to pull him out.
