‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep the ball rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
We’re in for some fun and interesting scenes in this episode, as well as a mini mystery as we try to figure out what promise Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be keeping. We’ve got some popcorn on standby, so let’s dig in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, February 23: A promise kept
This is a curious one for us since we don’t see any way Victor can follow through on his promise to give Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) his own company given recent developments, so that hinders our options.
Of course, he could’ve made one off screen of a while back and this is what we could be expecting, and in that case we think it’ll involve a surprise for one of his family members, most likely Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) or Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).
Or it could be Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) as part of what he and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) were planning. Maybe a peace offering to her to help smooth things over with Kyle?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, February 23: Making amends
It’ll be great timing consider Kyle is going to be trying to convince Summer to forgive him for being a huge douche and betraying her on several levels.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers hope he’s planning something sweet to show her how much he cares as well as a heartfelt apology for trying to out Victor.
It’ll include a long, meandering speech encapsulating his love for her that’ll more likely lead to us falling asleep or begging for her to forgive him to spare us the horror, but maybe we’ll be lucky and he’ll let his actions speak for once.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, February 23: Intriguing family dynamic
In a curious twist, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will pull a page out of Victor’s playbook and try to bring his family close by offering the co-CEO position to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Billy’s been looking for his next career move following leaving Chandler-Winters, and Jack will make the offer after they talk a bit and Billy mockingly suggest Jack wouldn’t want him as a co-CEO.
Jack will take it as a challenge and opportunity for them to work past their previous issues and come together to strengthen the family business.
It’ll be a touching moment and one we’re curious to see happen. Both have grown a lot over the years, and while they still butt heads occasionally, they could make magic happen together.
Plus, it’ll be fun to see them going back and forth as they strategize or argue.
Will Summer forgive Kyle or was his betrayal too much for her? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
