The account of WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker gave a Twitter high-five to fellow HOFer Kevin Nash after his fellow WWE Champion dunked on AEW and a tweet featuring a bloodied Wheeler Yuta trapped in a submission hold.

The original tweet in question was posted by user Makavelimademe featured Yuta with the crimson mask. Above is a caption painting the picture of Stone Cold Steve Austin drinking a brew and seeing tweets comparing Wheeler Yuta to him because of the spot. Response from most was more towards ridicule of Yuta, AEW, and Tony Khan in that order.
That isn’t to say there weren’t defenders of AEW, Wheeler Yuta, and the spot itself. However, there’s been this feeling among fans who aren’t sold on the product that AEW is pretty much living off WWE’s older talents and an Attitude Era approach. The replies for this tweet is a viper pit for the pro-AEW side.
Nash—who has a large following on the platform and is very active there—shaded AEW by replying that Austin wouldn’t be watching so there’s no chance of that situation happening. It got plenty of responses and retweets. A two-word response from the Undertaker’s Twitter got a bigger response but there was more of a mix.
A few were annoyed that two legends would take time out of their day to dunk on the company while many in the replies were with it. Check out the tweet below and let us know what you think.
