One of ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Spoilers favorite actors will be returning to Salem following his appearance in “Beyond Salem Chapter 2”.
Steve made headlines when he was fired from ‘General Hospital’ due to their vaccine mandate and it immediately got fans’ hopes up he’d return to ‘Days of Our Lives’ after appearing in Beyond Salem.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Steve Burton Returns to Salem on March 20
For Steve, it’s coming full circle as he started out on daytime television as Harris Michaels on ‘Days of Our Lives’ in 1988, and it’s going to be fun seeing him back for what Steve called what he hopes is a redemption storyline when he sate down with Wally Kurth to be interviewed.
As their interviews go, it was more of a conversation as Steve talked about his return is thanks to “Beyond Salem Chapter 2” and how he had a lot of fun working with everyone.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers even got to see one of his earliest scenes, and while he looked embarrassed, we doubt many fans will mind.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Return on the way
While Steve didn’t share any dates for his return and the interview sounded more like he didn’t know yet, though that could’ve been a smokescreen, he did announce his return on March 20 on “That’s Awesome with Steve Burton & Bradford Anderson”.
The news was also shared through sheknows.com, and we want to thank them for the brief transcript as Steve explained he thought he’d return on March 16, but it’s really March 20.
“I thought it was March 16th,” he shares, which would coincide with Bo and Hope’s return, “but the actual day is March 20th. So set your calendar. Peacock! March 20th! It’s going to be fun. Finally the time has come!”
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Continuing to evolve
It’s going to be great seeing Steve back in Salem, but it’s going to be even more fun to see him continue to grow as an actor and how that’ll translate into Harris’ character.
Both have changed a lot since he was last on the show, and that’s what makes daytime television so much fun.
Like the saying goes, when one door closes another opens, and while ‘General Hospital’ gave up a great talent and fan favorite, he gets another run on ‘Days of Our Lives’.
