On Peacock’s ‘Days of Our Lives’, Lauren’s character, Kate Roberts is not having it easy as she just cheated death only to find herself and her close friends, Kayla and Marlena being held in captive by an undead Megan Hathaway. Although things are looking gloomy for Kate on the soap opera, life is beautiful for Lauren as she celebrates a major milestone today. Happy 70th birthday to her.

Lauren Koslow was born on March 9, 1953, in Boston, Massachusetts. She bagged her undergraduate degree in theatre and costume design after studying at University of Massachusetts Amherst and Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University. Koslow started her Hollywood career in touring theatrical companies, working in productions such as Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Dial M for Murder.
She explored acting and featured on The Young and the Restless between 1984 and 1986, where she played schemer Lindsay Wells. After her feature on the soap, Lauren was asked by that serial’s creators — William J. Bell and wife Lee Phillip Bell — to feature on their newest creation,’ The Bold and the Beautiful’.
The following fiver years saw Lauren gracing the screen as Margo Lynley on the CBS soap opera. Fans of the show will remember tht designer Margo Lynley had initially set her sights on the married Eric Forrester before then shifted her interest to Bill Spencer Senior and then Clark Garrison.
In 1992, the soap opera star quit her role on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ to start her family with her husband, Nick Schillace. After some time, she made a comb back to te screen, starring as a guest star on series like Silk Stalkings and The Nanny.
In 1996, daytime lured her back and she joined NBC’s ‘Days of our Lives’ as, replacing incumbent Deborah Adair. Lauren has also starred on Mickey Spillane’s Mike Hammer, Spies, and Criminal Minds. She also featured as a voice over artist on the video game Zork: Nemesis.
