Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown!
This looks like it’s going to be a fun episode with some good looking matches and Sami Zayn confronting Jey Uso after his betrayal to even things out.
Let’s get to the action!
Cody Rhodes started the night off by coming out to the ring and asked the fans what they wanted to talk about and started off by saying emotions have been running high and he has the greatest respect for Roman Reigns.
He named him the greatest champion in pro wrestling and looks forward to beating him at WrestleMania, but he doesn’t want to talk about somebody, he wants to talk to somebody and asked Kevin Owens to come out.
After a delay, Owens came out.
Once in the ring, Owens said he didn’t have anything to say, but Cody stopped him from leaving and called Sami Zayn out.

Cody admitted he has a ton of love and respect for Owens and wants to repay him for helping his career by having the conversation.
Zayn said he hasn’t heard what Owens has to say and he wants Owens to do whatever he has to to get them back to working together.
When Owens tried to excuse himself and asked Cody if he got what he wants, Cody went on a rant about everyone wanting to see them back on the same page as fans chanted “Hug it out.”
Owens refuses to be with someone who only wants him to fight with them and not really being friends when he called out it being Cody’s idea to have the three of them take on the Bloodline.
This was the least organic segment we’ve seen in awhile and we want those fifteen minutes back.
Zayn caught Owens in the parking lot as he tried to leave and worked to convince Owens they’re more than friends, they’re brothers and told him he loves him. Owens left.
Mixed Tag Team Match – Legado del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Zelina Vega) vs. Judgement Day (Dom, Rhea Ripley
Dom his a dropkick to start the match off, then ate a pair of flying forearms as Escobar turned it around.
Ripley went for a boot, but Escobar caught her foot and backed into the corner to tag Vega in and she put her athleticism on display as she sent Ripley to the floor and hit a moonsault off the top rope.

Dom went after Escobar, and after some success, he ate a dropkick and backbreaker for a pin attempt Ripley broke up.
Vega then broke up Dom’s pin attempt.
Vega hit a hurricanrana on Dom, but Ripley grabbed her from behind for a Riptide.
After the match, Dom ran down Rey Mysterio as a disrespectful, deadbeat of a father when Rey was shown entering the arena on the titantron.
