With the lead up to WrestleMania, media outlets are getting their questions in with WWE superstars before the big one in Los Angeles. The Daily Mail recently asked Charlotte Flair if there was anything she’d change in her career or something she’d like to do down the road.
Without missing a beat, Charlotte said that she’d like to work with her husband, AEW’s Andrade El Idolo.
Charlotte Flair Would Love to Work with Her Husband AEW Star Andrade El Idolo “When the Time is Right”
Charlotte Flair and Andrade El Idolo began dating back in early 2019 while both were part of the SmackDown brand before marrying in 2022. Andrade has become a part of the family to point he was involved with his father-in-law Ric Flair’s retirement match in Nashville in July 2022, months after marrying Charlotte.
Since then the two have ended up in separate promotions with Charlotte remaining with WWE and currently reigning as SmackDown Women’s champion while Andrade is out of action in AEW. Charlotte Flair said of the future:
“One day I think I will be able to get to switch it up. I’d love to be beside my husband managing him, or mixed tag. I think when the time is right, I will get to switch it up, but I think again having such a serious role and where my career has gone, I don’t know if I could change it because I’ve had such an incredible one, if anything I wish I knew then what I knew now. I wish I could go back and re-do so many matches and storylines because I have so much depth in knowledge now that I didn’t have because I started so late in the game, but now I’ll have that down the road when maybe I do get to manage my husband.”
