‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers here and we’re all set to kickstart a new week and we have some fun spoilery goodies to share to help set the stage.
With things nearing the end of the run in several ways, there’s going to be some truths coming out as well as some requests that’ll be hard for some to accept or do.
Let’s get to some spoilers!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Monday, April 17: Turning the page
After a talk with his father and taking everything into consideration, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is willing to let some of his anger and frustration so when it comes to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
He’ll want to thank her for helping to give him a chance to get back on the police force, and we suspect there will be an apology or acceptance of one mixed in there as well.
It’ll be a small step, but it’ll something he and Brook Lynn can build on. If she’s willing to stop kicking herself and learn from her mistakes and if Chase can accept that she may screw up, but she eventually does the right thing.
Overall, they’re good for each other in a few ways and it’ll be nice to see them repair their relationship.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Monday, April 17: Cult of Carly is dying
It looks like one of the final moves in the storyline that has divided the fanbase is going to be made as Willow Tate (Katelynn MacMullen) will ask Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to make peace between Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
While Willow wanting peace is most likely the beginning of the end for the Cult of Carly, this won’t be an easy task given Chad has learned how to hold a grudge and hate toward someone well from Carly, and she’ll have to figure out how to diffuse that.
Sonny came close a couple of times when he talked to Michael, but something always interrupted them.
There are a couple of ways Carly’s task could be easier than even a week ago, and one of those is Sonny himself. She sounded proud when she told Willow that even Sonny was looking for Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Monday, April 17: There’s an opening
There’s never been a doubt in Carly’s mind about Sonny being there for his family, and that confidence could push Michael into letting go of his hate.
Another is when Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) tells Michael that Sonny’s known about her and Dex Heller (Even Hofer) for months. She’ll claim that because Dex saved him Sonny spared him, but she’s missing the part about him knowing for months and never acting on it.
Michael probably won’t, and given Sonny told him he’ll be there for him no matter what could soften Michael’s stance.
We doubt he’ll call the whole thing off since he and Joss want Sonny to suffer for hurting them, but it could open the door for Carly to make peace.
