One of the biggest wrestlers in the world right now is Omos – being unmatched in terms of scale. Known to fans as The Nigerian Giant, Omos recently went bell to bell with the legendary Brock Lesnar during WrestleMania 39 – and his brawn and power combined with the brains of manager MVP make him a dangerous man.
Another wrestler who had a major part in shaping his career is former tag team partner AJ Styles – who taught Omos some key lessons while they held the WWE Tag Team Championships.
AJ Styles Taught Omos The Important Of Looking Vicious, Using His Eyes To Convey A Story
While speaking with Chris Van Vliet, Omos would reveal what the most important lesson given to him by AJ Styles was. Omos would respond with the following.
“Being vicious. That’s the thing, that’s what separates AJ from everybody else. AJ knows you are meant to be vicious, and you see it in his eyes when he truly wants to kill somebody. That’s what I learned from him as you know, when I was also under him, he mentored me, which he still does today because he’s one of my closest friends. The look like you want to kill somebody, that is art. It’s not about what you do, it’s what’s in here, what you conveyed in your eyes. And that was something I learned from him and I still do today, looking like I want to kill this guy, I want to murder him.”
We’re seeing Omos become more natural in the ring on a week by week basis. He is someone who did not spend any time as part of the roster of WWE NXT, meaning that his progression is being seen by a much larger audience. Despite this, Omos is managing to hold his ground – and is building a fanbase in the process.
Omos is set to be in another huge match with weekend, facing former WWE Champion Seth Rollins at WWE Backlash. During the recent WWE Draft, he was marked as a free agent – allowing him to float between Smackdown & RAW for the time being.
