‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers here and we’re ready to close the week out with some action and fun spoilery goodies to share.
It looks like we’re on the cusp once more of seeing the end of Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), but we doubt it’ll be that easy.
Either way, let’s dive into some spoilers!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Friday, May 5: The only thing he has
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is the only thing Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has to keep him grounded and fighting for the moment.
He’s been trying, but after seeing his dearly departed mother trying to coax him to death, it looks like he was just about out of strength when Anna arrived.
While she can’t be in the room with him, she’ll encourage him through the window. She’ll demand he rage against death as it’s not his time to die yet.
He hope will be to help him hold on until someone can give him the antidote, but it doesn’t look good at the moment. There have been rumors that someone won’t make it back from this mission, and he could be the one we lose.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Friday, May 5: Another bluff called
After Laura Collins (Genie Francis)’s attempt to thwart Victor was unsuccessful, Victor will try the same tactic when Holly Scorpio (Emma Samms) has him cornered.
Using Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) as a human shield, he’ll hold up the contagion and proclaim if Holly kills him he’ll kill them all.
Obrecht was kept from telling Laura it needs to be exposed to UV light for the virus to be activated by a quick witted guard, but we down Victor will think to stop her from speaking this time.
Even if she doesn’t warn her, Holly won’t let him get away and will take her chances with the container.
This could be the moment Obrecht was waiting for as she could wrench free and take the container from him and Holly can then shoot him.
It’s a long shot and she’ll know if she’s hurt or dies it’s the end of Willow Tate (Katelynn MacMullen), but it’s a chance she may take to save the rest of her family.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Friday, May 5: Weather domination coming
“General Hospital” Spoilers would be disappointed if the show didn’t try to make things overly complicated by having the old computer system fire up and threaten to cause a weather catastrophe.
But while Laura is horrified by the possibility, it could be the perfect thing to help thwart Victor as a sudden storm could blow the drones off course or force them to abort for the time being until they’re sure of the target.
At this point nothing that’s pulled out of the hat to extend this storyline will surprise us, and we’re going to have plenty of popcorn on hand throughout it.
