Maggie is currently exercising her power as she sits on the throne, and while it looks okay on the outside, Justin is not happy with the fact that she let his son go.
He goes after Maggie to try some damage control. He asks her why she did what she did. What was she thinking? Why would she let his Alex go? He is very good at what he does, and Maggie should be thankful that she has someone like his son in her corner. What will Maggie tell Justin?

Elsewhere in Salem, Xander lands into trouble with Gwen over trying to get Chloe a job. Gwen does not like seeing Chloe around her, but Xander is making that difficult for her. The situation is really awkward and uncomfortable.
However, it appears that they have no reason to worry as Brady also asks her to take her job back at Basic Black. This is also another awkward and uncomfortable situation. It might even be worse than the former situation. Is Chloe willing to work with Brady?
