It has been confirmed that World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will be scheduled to appear on all dates of WWE RAW going forward. This is important as there was some concern as to if he could even carry out his wrestling commitments while filming Captain America: The New World Order.

It’s a concern of WWE where the company has a lot of previous experience with its superstars filming projects outside of its own entertainment system. When it’s a WWE production, the company has control over how much of the superstar’s time is used for filming and promotion—if that much is required.
A good example of this is Kane being written off of WWE television while filming See No Evil or Paige during the promotion of Fighting with My Family. WWE would know the schedule up until the point where someone has to be put on the shelf. It’s in the plans.
While working with a studio like Universal, the schedule is what it is per the contract. If the superstar can make shows, they’re squeezing it in since filming takes priority if the role is significant. Given the deal behind this and the speculation leaning towards AJ Styles winning the title instead of Rollins, the champ isn’t playing an extra in Captain America: The New World Order.
From what is known about the scheduling, Seth Rollins will be able to make the show dates and can be called back in if reshoots are necessary. Other than that, it appears that the project won’t interfere with Rollins being on television. As far as what he can and can’t do is another thing but it’s unlikely there’s anything too restrictive only for WWE to agree to it.
On the topic of WWE RAW and schedules, PWInsider reported that several superstars heading into New York from Night of Champions were exhausted. The flight was delayed in Saudi Arabia by three hours but the superstars still made it in time for that evening’s RAW.
From previous stories from superstars about international travel, it’s the ride back for taping or live broadcasts that tends to be the kicker. There’s a heightened pressure to actually make it to the show and something such as the risk of an international flight delay is a problem.
