Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Results!
Tonight should be a fun one as we’ll get some more Money in the Bank Qualifying Matches and Roman Reigns celebrates 1000 days as undisputed champion and rumor has it he’ll be getting a new Universal Championship belt.
Let’s get to the action!
The show started with a lengthy tribute to Roman Reigns narrated by Paul Heyman, and afterwards Austin Theory was in the ring and welcomed us to Austin Theory Live.
He gave props to Reigns’ title reign, but made sure to add his days as US Championship to the count as almost as inspiring as being the guy that beat John Cena at WrestleMania.
He talked about being the United States champion for 4000 days because he’s the best ever, and he then introduced Pretty Deadly as his guests for doing what was right last week.
Pretty Deadly told Theory it was their pleasure to destroy the Brawling Brutes and unlike Sheamus, he’s the champion the people deserve.
Of course, the Brawling Brutes came out with Sheamus to get their match started.

Holland and Prince started it off and Holland nailed him with a shoulder and an uppercut and clothesline as he went to work.
Butch tagged in and Preddy Deadly took over, but Butch fought back and caught Wilson with a clothesline and Wilson scooted away for Theory to tag in.
Sheamus tagged in after some urging from Theory, but the show headed to commercial and when it came back Prince was in control over Butch.
Once again, Butch fought out of it with some boots and a tornado DDT and Sheamus and Theory came in and Sheamus unloaded on him with heavy blows, and then he took out Pretty Deadly with Irish Curse Backbreakers.
The Brutes hit a triple While Noise, and Theory ate a Brogue Kick. Pretty Deadly pulled him to the floor to save the pin, and Sheamus took out Pretty Deadly from the top rope followed by a moonsault by Butch.
Pretty Deadly’s double team work took Sheamus down, and Theory tried to capitalize but Sheamus kicked out and Theory became frustrated.
Sheamus caught him with a clothesline and the Brute cleaned out the ring for Sheamus to hit Theory with a knee for a near pinfall.
After a swap out by Pretty Deadly, they hit Spilt Milk on Holland and Theory tagged in to get the pin.
Backstage, Heyman talked to Solo Sikoa about how they have to make this special for Roman Reigns after what happened at Night of Champions and he’ll make sure the Usos won’t be anywhere around.
