Hello and welcome to Impact Wrestling Results!
This is going to be a fun show as the new champions will open the show and some new rivalries will commence.
Let’s get to the action!
Before The Impact (BTI) – Champagne Singh and Shera vs. Laredo Kid and Jack Price
This should be a fun one to get us warmed up for the night with the different styles and power moves about to come our way.
Singh started it off against Price, and after a feeling out process Price caught Singh with a dropkick. He was sent to the apron by Singh, but sidestepped a shoulder to hit a kick and senton for a pin attempt.
Laredo tagged in and after ducking a reverse elbow took over with a slam and a pair of moonsaults for a near pinfall.

Price tagged in and they hit a double dropkick on Singh for another pin attempt. Singh responded with a flapjack and tagged in Shera.
Shera’s power halted an arm drag by Price, and he leveled him with a clothesline and a slam before throwing Price to the floor for Singh to work him over as Shera antagonized Laredo.
Shera and Singh hit a double team for a near pinfall and Singh kept working on Price.
Laredo came in and traded kicks with Shera before he chopped him down with a dropkick to his legs and a step up, and Singh came in to much the same fate.
Laredo took out Shera on the floor with a crossbody while in the ring Singh got loos with a rake to the eyes and hit a Champaign Pop on Price for the win.
Heath interrupted their celebration by hitting a Wake Up Call on Singh hand Shera.
Setting up a main event
To get the night started, new X-Division Champion Chris Sabin and Impact World Champion Alex Shelley came out to chants of “Motor City.”
Sabin started if off by talking about how he had the most incredible dream that the Motor City Machine Guns walked away with gold, but not tag team gold.
He became the first nine time X-Division Champion, and Shelley finally became the world champion after working his tail off for twenty years.

And when he woke up he realized it wasn’t a dream but a dream come true. He then asked Shelley what he has to say and he gave a simple “Yup.”
Shelley then asked if he can be honest, and he said he ugly cried because for twenty years he felt like he wasn’t good enough to win the big one and he finally did.
He has the Midas touch as he trains champions like Jay White, the Young Bucks, Kushida, and Seth Rollins, and he had to draw a line in the sand and say it’s his turn to prove it to himself.
Now he can say he’s a world champion because of the fans. He’s a champion for every locker room he worked with and trained him.
He announced it’s a new era in Impact Wrestling, and Nick Aldis came out to stake his claim after becoming the number one contender.
Aldis said he has to get something off his chest, and he called his shot to become the number one contender as did Sabin and Shelley.

He congratulated them and said they deserve it. He opened up that when he first came to the company he was drowning and Shelley offered him and hand and pulled him up and he needs to add him to his list of world champion.
He respectfully told Shelley he kept growing and now Shelley reached his level, and he’ll do everything in his power to ensure he’s champion.
Trey came out and really heeled it up and how they forgot him despite being mentioned and demanded his respect.
Kenny King came out and accused Sabin for inviting Trey into a 3 on 1 situation, but since it’s 3 on 3 with Sheldon Jean he offered them a match.
They headed to the ring when Gisele Shaw and her entourage came out.
Shaw wasted no time in saying the spotlight should be hers, but when Trinity arrived they rolled out the red carpet for her like they did for Aldis.
Trinity then joined the party and said she’s there to see Shaw get schooled by Shelley, and Vidal got in her face before backing up when Trinity warned him to get out of her face.
Next up was Deonna Purrazzo, and after a brief exchange, Santino Marella came out to set up a 10 person tag match for tonight’s main event.
