‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers here and we’re closing the week out with some fun confrontations amidst bad news.
There’s plenty going on to keep us entertained, so let’s grab some popcorn and settle in for some spoilery goodies.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Friday, June 23: Poor Carly
Whelp, it just goes to show how used to getting her way Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is with all of the times Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) circumvented the legal system now that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is going to prison for three years for her crime.
She won’t like it and she’ll do what she does best: complain and refuse to accept the judge’s ruling.
She’ll probably even tell the judge that he knew nothing about the insider trading and it was all her fault, which it was and she should be the one going to prison.
But Drew will speak up and fall on his sword for her yet again and he’ll find out he won’t be going to the cushy Spring Ridge, but Pentonville or an actual federal prison.
When the truth about Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros)’s involvement comes out, Carly will be furious and put all the blame on her, carefully sidestepping the fact she did the crime and Drew’s doing her time.
We’d love to see Carly learn from seeing her children’s hate, but we’d better get ready for another round of rewriting history and hypocrisy.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Friday, June 23: Not the best news
As Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) is waiting for an update on Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth)’s condition, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) will have some news and it won’t be what she wants to hear.
While “General Hospital” Spoilers doesn’t think it’ll be catastrophic or anything like that, we have a feeling Kevin will inform her, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) that they have to wait.
At least, that’s what seems likely as it’s what is always said when someone has amnesia or any problem with their mind in these shows.
This means Eddie Maine will be around for a while, or until Ned gets bonked on the head again, if they decide to follow sitcom and slapstick logic.
Unfortunately, it’s going to make things in the Quartermaine family difficult for a time as they all try to cope with Ned’s rock and roll persona taking over and causing some issues in more ways than we can count.
Will Kevin be able to recommend something to help Ned remember who he is or will he be in limbo for the next few months to a year? Let us know in the comments below and check back with “General Hospital” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
