The Bloodline is shattered – and the family is now at odds. After Night of Champions saw The Usos attack Roman Reigns, the battle lines were drawn.
Tonight, the former WWE Tag Team Champions face Reigns in Solo Sikoa in what WWE is already calling The Bloodline Civil War. Reigns is more paranoid and power hungry than ever, and Sikoa chose him over his brothers – dubbing Sikoa the next Tribal Chief.
Whoever comes out on top could be ready to call themselves the Head of the Table, making this a high value match for both teams despite there being no gold on the line. A new tribal chief could be crowned, especially if Reigns is pinned or submitted.
Add in Mr. Money In The Bank Damien Priest lurking and ready for a chance at potentially ending the 1000 day reign of Reigns – and this is a high drama match as well.
The Bloodline Civil War Reaches London
Jimmy Uso would start with Sikoa, being thrown across the ring after trying to lock up with his brother. The crowd would start a ‘tribal wanker’ chant – before Sikoa got some heavy strikes on Jimmy. Some smart work from The Usos would see them gain control, with Jey getting a blind tag before a two on one attack.
Reigns would try to fire Sikoa up, before accepting a tag into the match. He’d lock up with Jey Uso, applying a tight headlock before being shoved off and hitting a shoulder tackle. Reigns would verbally berate his cousins, but took time to shove the face of Jimmy – allowing Jey to get some quick blows in before being dropped by a back elbow.
The Usos would drive Reigns from the ring, who got some advice from Paul Heyman before returning to the ring. Jey would be calm as he faced Reigns again, he’d manage to corner Reigns for some punches to the face – before Reigns was able to fight back. Sikoa would choke Jey in the corner, before hitting some stiff headbutts after the tag.
The Usos would have a brief flurry – but Sikoa blocked a flying forearm from Jimmy with a big shot of his own. Jimmy would be beaten into the corner by Sikoa – with the referee threatening a DQ if Sikoa didn’t back off. He’d back off across the ring, and channelled his uncle Umaga for a big running hip attack.
Solo Sikoa Shows Brute Force
Reigns would accept a tag now that Jimmy was knocked loopy – and saw him resting on the ropes for a big Drive-By Dropkick. A two count would follow, before Jimmy tried to find a tag.
Sikoa pulled Jey off the apron as Jimmy leapt – ensuring the tag was not completed. Reigns would taunt for the crowd before setting up the Superman Punch.
Locked and loaded, Reigns would jump for the punch – but missed and was sent to the floor with a lariat. Jey & Sikoa would find tags, and an jump up enziguri got Jey a big opening. Sikoa would head to the corner, and Jey would run for the hip attack this time – landing the blow.
A second attempt would see him lifted into a Samoan Drop, but Jey flipped free and sent him to the floor… but not before a tag to Reigns.
Jey would dive onto Sikoa & Reigns, but as he tried for a second dive on Reigns he’d take a Superman Punch from the floor. A second Superman Punch landed in the ring, and suddenly – Reigns was ready to end this match with a spear. The Usos would instead hit a Double Spear – with Sikoa saving the match as Reigns was defeated.
All four men hit the ring, and were ready for a fight. Jey & Sikoa would take their fight to the floor, and the ring post would be used to drop Sikoa.
Jimmy & Reigns would trade blows in the ring, including another Superman Punch which got a two count. The Spear was blocked with a set of Superkicks, before Jimmy soared with an Uso Splash – right into a chokehold.
The Usos Topple The Tribal Chief
Jimmy would refuse to tap out or pass out – firing up and fighting free. The Usos would attack – and the referee was sent from the ring by accident. Reigns was hit by the 1D, but without a referee, there was no pinfall to be counted. Uso Crazy double splash would be set, but Sikoa would stop this before a double Uranage.
Spike & Spear would land as the referee was recovering. Jimmy & Jey were stacked up for the pinfall, but both were able to kick out. Unsure of how to proceed with even Heyman speechless, Sikoa would just start attacking. Sikoa would drive Jimmy into the barricade, and set up the announce desk.
Jimmy was set up on the table, and Sikoa would dive off the barricade… but there was no one home. Sikoa was out, and Reigns was nailed with a superkick. He’d hit the ropes and come back with a spear for a near fall… with Jey getting a low blow in the process. Reigns would take a series of Superkicks, before the diving splash for the pinfall victory.
This is the first pinfall Reigns has suffered since December 2019 – Jey Uso has done the unthinkable. Reigns is defeatable, he’s human, and The Usos know how to defeat him.
