Now, the portrayer of the wonderful character, Patsy Pease, has her own real-life milestone to celebrate today.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Alum, Patsy Pease, Celebrates 67th Birthday
‘Days of Our Lives’ Patsy Pease was born on July 5, 1956, in Charlotte, North Carolina, and she celebrates her 67th birthday today. Patsy studied her craft at prestigious institutions like the North Carolina Governor’s School of Drama, and started her TV career when she landed a role on Search for Tomorrow.
She played her role of waitress and aspiring singer Cissie Mitchell Sentell, for a few years and left the soap opera world to shadow Bob Fosse and his entourage of dancers. A number of years later, Patsy accidentally landed the role of Kimberly Brady on ‘Days of Our Lives’.
Longtime viewers of ‘Days of Our Lives’ cannot deny the fact that Kimberly was a very popular DOOL heroine. However, once she was paired with Charles Shaughnessy, who portrayed the role of secret agent, Shane Donovan a supercouple was born and their popularity skyrocketed.
DOOL alum, Patsy Pease remained on the show (off and on) until 1992 when she made exited the show semi-permanently. She returned only for occasional and brief guest appearances.
Patsy Pease’s TV stints did not ed with DOOL. Among many of her acting credits include guest roles in Silk Stalkings and Hardball, as well as supporting roles in films like Total Reality, Two Shades of Blue, and Drop Dead Gorgeous.
She also played parts in The Young and the Restless and The Bay. Asides being an actress, the DOOL alum is also an accredited teacher for the American Film Institute and the S.A.G. Conservatory. She is also a dance teacher and fitness consultant.
