‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers here and we’re set to get a new week started and it looks like we’re going to have a good mix of storylines in this one and it’ll be fun to see if most will connect or go into their own.
We doubt there will be many answers coming in this one, but there will be plenty of speculation as Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) continue discussing the assassination attempt and what does it mean.
With plenty going on, let’s dive into some spoilery goodies!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Monday, July 17: A rogue agent?
One thing “General Hospital” Spoilers are getting a kick out of is Anna’s defense that it can’t be a WSB agent trying to kill them because they missed. That’s her whole defense.
Granted, we think she’s more in shock from her home being vandalized and the shooting to really accept everything, but it looks like Sonny is getting her to open her eyes and consider the possibility.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) went a long way in helping her accept it as well when he pointed out the weapon should be locked way in a WSB vault and not out being used for target practice.
Since a hit on her would have to be sanctioned and Anna won’t accept that possibility yet, Sonny will broach the topic of it being a rogue agent and that seems highly likely.
Given Anna’s past, it’s very possible that her actions resulted in someone dying and their friend or relative could be looking for payback. It could also be the new head of the WSB. We trust him as far as we can throw the Empire State building.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Monday, July 17: The search continues
Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth), formerly Ned Quartermaine, is going to put in an appearance. Well, he’ll be found by Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), but it looks like it’ll be at a show so it’s still technically an appearance.
Chase will have a fun time finding him, and we expect it’ll be even more fun convincing Eddie to return with him.
We’re guessing Chase will be doing this for Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), and we’re curious what he’d be doing her a favor like this. Maybe he looks at it as a way to help Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) in smoothing things over in some way.
There’s a few reasons Chase would be looking for him, but since Eddie hasn’t done anything wrong we’re curious as to why.
