With the WWE involving long term storylines once again, it’s given the company some stability and allowed two of the most popular factions to grow and becoming more than they would’ve a couple of years ago.
But with the Bloodline jumping the shark with yet another betrayal to keep Roman Reigns as champion, they’ve lost some ground and the Judgement Day has stepped up to fill the gap.
Judgement Day Set to Replace the Bloodline
Judgement Day still manages to stay fresh by appearing on NXT and finding ways to make new enemies while the Bloodline has run its course for many.
Now there are reports being shared from WRKD Wrestling that the WWE thinks the Judgement Day storyline will be able to replace the Bloodline’s when it comes to an end.
What makes this interesting is after this report was made, Paul Heyman claimed there’s plenty left in the Bloodline tank because it remains popular and they help set records at the gate.
While it’s always smart to stick with the hot hand, the Bloodline is starting to feel like the nWo did when Eric Bischoff didn’t end it at the right time.
WWE see Judgement Day as the successor to The Bloodline’s storyline, in terms of fan interest and longevity.

Since there’s no telling when the Bloodline storyline will end, it looks like the Judgement Day is making their move as they run Raw and getting a foothold in NXT.
Like the Bloodline, there’s drama behind the scenes as Finn Balor and Damian Priest have been at odds over Seth Rollins and the World Heavyweight Championship that has become the main focus due to Reigns’ part time schedule.
Priest has been showing signs of turning face as the two have butted heads at times, and it’ll be interesting to see how it’ll work out when it comes time.
It’ll refresh the faction, but there’s also the issue that Rhea Ripley is holding it together through the force of her will.
We doubt it’ll be as intense as the Bloodline, but there’s every chance it’ll turn into a prolonged feud for the leadership of the faction.
To be honest, we’d prefer it be a semi clean break with a match between Balor and Priest with the loser leaving the faction. Ripley could try to make sure no one interferes or choose a side since JD McDonagh has been teased as siding with Balor.
He could play a hand in the outcome with Ripley having to make a choice on who to back or if she should stop him.
There’s so many angles they can go with this and we’re looking forward to seeing the Judgement Day reach their ultimate potential.
