WWE Smackdown Results returned as Bayley talked about how Zelina Vega got lucky against IYO SKY and ran down SKY’s accomplishments and she told Braxton we’re in the IYO Era and need to buckle up.
They started off trading arm bars before SKY hit a bodyslam for a pin attempt, and Vega slipped out of another slam attempt to roll SKY up and hit a kick before heading to the top rope.
SKY caught her with a slam off the top rope for a near pinfall, and she then locked in a rear chin lock.

Vega fired up and nailed a series of clotheslines and a DDT and followed it with a meteora for a near pinfall, and then rolled SKY up a couple more times for pin attempts.
SKY hit a missile dropkick, but Vega hit another DDT to buy some time.
Vega then hit a Code Red, but SKY rolled to the floor and she followed her out. SKY threw her into the ring steps, and then into the ring.
SKY hit a running double knee and then a Over the Moonsault for the win.

The legend Terry Funk
Cody came out to the ring to a loud pop and said he knows what he wants to talk about, and it’s about a time when he was 11 and in an airport with Dusty.
He heard someone call Dusty an “egg sucking dog” and he had choice words for his grandmother as well and he assumed it was going to be a domestic experience and then he saw it was Terry Funk.
Cody went on about how wrestlers call themselves, but a few can call themselves cowboys and Funk and Wyatt were cowboys in the best of ways.

He focused on Funk and he wore it proudly over his fifty years in the business.
He mentioned how some wrestlers would give a rub to a couple, but Funk did it to a company and a movement, and a pretty awesome video package followed.
After the package played, Cody picked up the story on how Funk was extremely passionate and hardcore, and he’s glad to tell us the next tag team match is a hardcore tag team match.
This was a nice tribute, but it feels like they should’ve had Mick Foley talk about Funk instead. This felt more like an excuse to get Cody on the screen than anything else.
