The moment we’ve been waiting all week for is here as Dick Van Dyke will guest star as a man without his memory, and it’s had us excited to learn who he is.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Friday, September 1: Secrets to unravel
First and foremost for “Days of Our Lives” Spoilers is we’re stoked to have the legendary Dick Van Dyke pop into Salem for a visit, and this should be a fun storyline.

There’s been plenty of fan speculation that he’s a recast Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), God, and more, but our personal favorite if he may have been the pilot or someone with Victor when his plane went down.
He’s going to tell Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) that he’s on an important mission, and that’ll lead to Victor and why he was where he was instead of with his son like he was supposed to be.
We’re wondering if he’ll have a final message from Victor to his loved ones as well, or if he’ll just be the missing link in the mystery?
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Friday, September 1: Surprise return
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) has taken a few good shot lately, mostly by his own doing, and he’s going to get a surprise when Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) returns to pay her respects to Victor.
This should be a fun reunion, though we doubt she’ll bring their son with.
We also expect Brady to immediately plan to have her as a character witness to get his daughter back from Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk).
That should be fun if it happens since Brady’s been stable toward their son because he’s across the country, but he still lost custody.
He really needs everyone to stop “understanding” him and get him some help before he really goes manic on someone.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Friday, September 1: Rafe makes a decision
Now that he’s had a few days to think it over, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will make his decision on whether to accept Paulina Price (Jackée Harry)’s offer to be police commissioner again.
While he’s great at the job, it won’t surprise us if he turns it down. Plus, we’d love to see him try his hand at something else.
He’d be great as a private investigator or another venue that would be challenging for him. After dealing with Paulina when Abe Carver (James Reynolds) was missing, he may not want to deal with her as his actual boss.
And it’ll save on any more issues that could become a problem because of his relationship with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu).
It’ll be fun to see what he decides.
