Shinsuke Nakamura has proven he can be the most careful and calculating man on Monday Night RAW over the past month. He has been watching WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins very closely.

Nakamura knows that Rollins has been working with an injured back for years now, and that it impacts his daily life. He’s watched every movement Rollins has made, and is ready to put Rollins on the shelf – and show everyone that the reign of the King of Strong Style is ready to begin. It’s his duty to put Rollins out of his misery, to take the burden of being a champion away from him.

Seth Rollins Has No Future After Shinsuke Nakamura Strikes

Rollins would sprawl with Nakamura as the match began, using his mat wrestling skills to gain early control. Nakamura would get some stiff strikes in, landing a forearm strike before forcing Rollins into the corner. Some Good Vibrations would follow, but Rollins would be able to regain control.

Rollins would send Nakamura to the floor, hitting a suicide dive. Nakamura would be driven face first into the announce desk, setting him up for a Super Curb Stomp.

Instead, Nakamura would catch Rollins, and threw him onto the announce desk – landing back first on the monitors. Back in the ring, Nakamura would apply a Camel Clutch.

Rollins was able to break free, only to be shoved to the apron and hit with a knee strike to the back. Single Leg Boston Crab would be applied, a move Nakamura learned to perfect as a Young Lion of New Japan Pro Wrestling. Rollins would have his back manipulated.

Nakamura got a bit greedy and lost control, allowing Rollins to break free. He’d go to the top rope, but Rollins caught him and tried for the Superplex into the Falcon Arrow. Rollins had to think twice, and hit the Frankensteiner instead, knowing that was less back damage.

The Most Physical Match For The World Heavyweight Championship To Date

Trading blows with Nakamura in the middle of the ring, Rollins would be able to hit the superkick and a Slingblade – before coming off the top rope with a frog splash.

Nakamura was able to kick out at two, and rose to his feet. Rollins would try to lift Nakamura with a powerbomb, but his back was giving him issues.

Nakamura would slip out and tried for a kick, with Rollins ducking and catching Nakamuras wrist and hit the Rainmaker for a two count.

A flying knee strike from Nakamura would catch Rollins, and set him up for a snap suplex. Even kicking out of pinfalls is hurting Rollins – and the Inverted Exploder Suplex would follow.

The Kinshasa would be signalled – but Rollins managed a superkick as a counter. Rollins would be able to avoid the lethal strike, only to end up in a Triangle Choke.

The only way free is a Powerbomb counter – and he’d use what is left of his back to get it for survival. A pinfall followed, but it was weak – barely getting two.

Rollins managed an enziguri, but Nakamura had a lot more left than him. He’d carry Rollins to the top rope and hit the Top Rope Landslide for a near fall.

Kinshasa to the back of the neck followed, and Nakamura wanted a second – but Rollins stayed down. Nakamura pulled him to his feet. Rollins was able to hit a desperate Curb Stomp – barely getting the pinfall for the victory.

Will the damage done by Nakamura tonight cause the downfall of Rollins? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.

A wrestling fan practically since birth, who has been hooked since he got his first toy wrestling ring for Christmas as a child. Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
