Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Results!
This looks like it’s going to be a fun show as John Cena returns as a guest on the Waller Effect and there are some good matches lined up.
Without further ado, let’s get to the action!
Pat McAfee came out to start the show by saying he was just covering college football and decided to stop by when he saw the WWE was there as well.
Austin Theory came out and wasted no time in mocking the fans and McAfee for not matching his career exploits when he was 26 and said it’s not Smackdown but Austin Theory Live. He then said they have unfinished business.

They traded insults until McAfee told him his lack of respect to the people and the show, and this is the People’s show and asked if he knows what that means and the Rock came out to a huge pop and he soaked it up as he headed to the ring.
The Rock quickly silenced Theory, then handed McAfee his mic while he threw his jacket into the crowd to do his usual intro promo.
Theory told him he’s the real Austin and then interrupted the Rock by telling him it doesn’t matter, and the Rock lectured him and got the fans involved.
The Rock got the fans to chant “You are a —-” and it was bleeped out. The bleeping quickly got annoying as if cut for a couple of minutes.
Theory got lectured about how he’s going to get his Candy a—whipped for running down the fans, and Theory attacked him.
Rock fought him off and hit a spinebuster and then a People’s Elbow as he blew the roof off.
McAfee then did his impersonation of the People’s Elbow.
