The Judgement Day is becoming one of the most important groups to watch in WWE. Originally formed by WWE Hall of Famer Edge, the group now contains Rhea Ripley, Finn Balor, Damien Priest & Dominik Mysterio.
They currently hold the WWE Women’s World Championship, NXT North American Championship, WWE Tag Team Championships and the Money in the Bank briefcase.
Damien Priest is Mr. Money In The Bank and half of the tag champions with Finn Balor – and could be the next man in line for the top spot in WWE.
Damien Priest Can Get Whatever Gold He Wants In WWE
During an interview with Riju Dasgupta for Sportskeeda Wrestling, Rhea Ripley would sing the praises of Priest – feeling that he is capable of anything WWE requires from him.
“I think he’s ready to take Roman’s spot. Damian is ready for anything. I’ve known this man pretty much the entire time that I’ve been in NXT. I came to the main roster the exact same time as him. We did our initiation together. I know what he’s capable of, and I think that the sky’s the limit. If he wants to get whatever gold he wants, I think he can do it.”
Since arriving in WWE, Priest has proven himself time and time again. Originally a questionable signing due to his lackluster run with Ring of Honor, he had a complete turn around as part of the NXT roster.
His match quality, promo skills and physique quickly hit new levels – and by the time he hit the main roster, he would instantly find success with a run as the United States Champion.
Once he was brought into Judgement Day by Edge, he would hit his true potential – and his star making performance at Backlash against Bad Bunny caught the attention of the right people backstage in WWE.
With WWE planning to make Judgement Day the next massive faction, Priest could well be that leading man of the group – especially if he makes good use of the title shot he earned at Money in the Bank.
