Seth Rollins is a hurt man – and Shinsuke Nakamura knows this perhaps better than anyone else. He nearly broke Rollins down to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Payback – but tonight, has another chance in a Last Man Standing match.
With no rules and weapons allowed, Nakamura can truly try to break Rollins back – and take the burden of being a champion away.
Seth Rollins Brings Extreme Energy To Fastlane
Rollins would quickly send Nakamura running to the floor, and followed – giving up the high ground. The back of Rollins would be taped up, and he’d grab a kendo stick to be the equaliser. Rollins would drive Nakamura to the floor and hit a suplex, before pulling up the padding on the floor.
Nakamura would avoid a powerbomb onto the concrete, but was beaten down on the floor. Rollins would flood the ring with weapons – but Nakamura would manage a knee to the midsection before another to the back of the neck. Nakamura would grab some nunchucks, but would simply misdirect the attention of Rollins before another knee strike.
Nakamura would choke Rollins with the nunchucks, and applied pressure to the back with his knee. Rollins would manage to reach his feet at the count of five, before being locked in a sleeper hold.
Reaching for the ropes would not save Rollins in this match, but countering an Inverted Exploder Suplex would.
Rollins would hit the Slingblade, before beating Nakamura to the mat with a kendo stick assault. The trash can would be slammed off the face of Nakamura, sending him to the floor for the Suicide Dive.
Rollins would roll Nakamura back into the ring, and hit a running knee and went to the top rope for a big Frog Splash.
Nakamura would fight back with a big knee strike, and set up a table in the corner of the ring. The Inverted Exploder would land, but the Kinshasa would would avoided as he ran into the table, before Rollins hit the Curb Stomp.
Nakamaura would narrowly survive the ten count, and Rollins would prep the announce table and pulled a ladder out from under the ring.
Shinsuke Nakamura Digs Deep Into His Bag Of Tricks
Rollins would hit Nakamura with the ladder, and set him up on the table – looking for the Super Curb Stomp. Nakamura would slip away to freedom, and would take this brawl into the stands. Rollins would be pulled by his hair up the steps, but broke free and fought back with some punches to the face.
Nakamura would hit a low blow and kicked Rollins down to the concrete – and Rollins would use a road case to find his feet at the count of nine.
A swift kick and chair shot to the spine would punish Rollins, before tried for a Pedigree on the exposed concrete at ringside, only to be launched with a back body drop.
Again, Rollins would manage to fight back to his feet – and hit a Pedigree in the ring, but Nakamura made his feet without help at the ropes.
Rollins would be set up on a table at ringside, and a double knee drop would drive him through. Nakamura used the barricade to get his feet – but Rollins used the broken table.
And The Last Man Standing Is…
A series of chair shots would land on Rollins, before Nakamura was drive head first into the ring post. Nakamura would be set up on the announce table, but Rollins was unable to complete the stop once again. Rollins would be sprayed in the eyes with red mist, and shoved through the table – but refused to stay down.
Back in the ring, Rollins would be driven through another table with the Kinshasa – and Nakamura would pose on the ropes as the referee counted.
Rollins would roll out of the ring and to his feet to break the count, only for Nakamura to drive him into the timekeeper’s area. Landslide would be blocked, with Rollins hitting a Pedigree and Curb Stomp.
Nakamura would find his feet, but took a Falcon Arrow through a table moments later. He would stumble at nine and failed to break the count – enabling Rollins to somehow walk away with his reign intact.
