When WWE did their mass layoff of talent and staff last Wednesday, only one female wrestler from RAW & Smackdown was cut, this being Sarah Logan. She most recently appeared on Monday Night RAW, losing a Money In The Bank qualifier match to Shayna Baszler by TKO, after her arm was destroyed by Baszler and she was unable to compete any longer. This would have been a perfect way to keep her written off TV, but has WWE gotten cold feet about this particular release?
Sarah Logan Was Mentioned Numerous Times On Monday Night RAW
While all other released talents from WWE have not been mentioned at all, barring Drake Maverick who is still booked to be in the NXT Interim Cruiserweight Championship tournament, Sarah Logan was name dropped throughout this past episode of Monday Night RAW. This could very well indicate that they are either going to resign her, or her name was added to the release list in error. While Sarah Logan isn’t a top star within WWE, she is well liked backstage and her husband is Erik of the Viking Raiders. Combine this with being someone who can take a great beating due to her past in death matches, and she is a unique and valuable piece of the WWE Women’s Division with lots of upward potential, be that as a wrestler or manager for The Viking Raiders.
Getting Revenge On Shayna Baszler
Twice now, Logan has been completely dismantled by brutal attacks from Baszler. The first came as part of the Elimination Chamber match, where Baszler eliminated every other competitor in the match on her way to facing Becky Lynch at Wrestlemania 36. Second came on Monday Night RAW with the brutal arm injury. These two times would be enough for anyone to want revenge, and we could see Sarah Logan be entered into an intense feud with Baszler to try and get exactly that. If she brought her hardcore side out, this could be a very memorable feud for the women’s division, and something unique as well. Fans have been craving something fresh in the division for a while, sick of feuds involving Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and Bayley, and this is a great chance to do just that.
Do you think Sarah Logan is going to be sticking around in WWE? Was her release done in error? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
