The film, set to premiere on Great American Pure Flix on August 29th and Great American Family on September 7th, follows the story of Wade, a meticulous planner determined to propose to his girlfriend, Kayla, with the perfect engagement.
His carefully crafted plans, however, take an unexpected turn when they are forced to visit Kayla’s family farm.
Wade, a city slicker, finds himself out of his element as he navigates the world of farm life. He must also contend with Kayla’s disapproving family and her ex-boyfriend, who seems determined to sabotage their relationship. LaRue takes on the role of Wade’s mother, adding depth and complexity to the already intriguing plot.
