WWE Friday Night SmackDown rolls on. The WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman is here now. It can be kinda easy to forget he’s world champion, he’s not featured near as frequently as most. I guess it’s just down to how they treat monsters. Braun takes up a mic and says last week we took a trip down memory lane with the Wyatt Family. But the past is just that, the past. It’s behind him now and at Money In The Bank- Bray Wyatt’s Firefly Funhouse music interrupts. He says he has a message for everyone… it’s story time! Tonight’s tale is a true story called The Black Sheep!
Bray has an actual book with that title on it and a depiction of Braun Strowman’s mask. Says once upon a time, there was a Black Sheep and he looked a little like Braun. Says he had a funny face and smelled a little bit but he was stronger than everyone else on the barn. A nice handsome shepherd found him wandering around alone and he took him home. He taught him well and they had a lot of fun together. But one day the selfish Black Sheep just up and left. Didn’t say sorry or even goodbye, didn’t even leave a note. And the Shepherd was very sad. He asked why, why after everything I’ve done did you leave me?! But the Shepherd never got an answer, never saw the Black Sheep again.
The story ends with the government taking the Shepherd’s barn and then the reptilians came in and took over because that’s what reptilians do. Says that was a really sad ending. Suggests we maybe make a new ending where the Shepherd finds the Black Sheep and takes away what makes him happy, brings him to the wood shed and after that-! Braun interrupts and says there won’t be an ‘after that’. Strowman once again refuses to play along with Bray and his puppets, even though he didn’t even use any puppets in this one, this was actually one of the more straightforward and grounded skits he’s done. Braun demands that Bray come out and face him. Bray just pauses, smiles and silenty waves as the Firefly Funhouse theme tune plays him off. That takes us to commercial break, and thus the end of the segment.
