WWE Friday Night SmackDown continues, we see a replay of Lucha House Party getting their big upset win over The Miz and John Morrison. Now the Lucha House Party team with the New Day against Miz & Morrison and the Forgotten Sons in an eight man tag team match.
The New Day & Lucha House Party vs. The Forgotten Sons & John Morrison & The Miz
Kofi and the Miz start us out and lock up. Kofi with an arm wringer, Miz rolls through and reverses into a top wristlock. Kofi rolls through and counters it for a hammerlock. The Miz fights out, takes Kofi to the heel corner but he reverses and starts swinging at the Forgotten Sons. The heels all get to sent to the outside, The New Day and Lucha House Party get some stereo dives in before we go to commercial break. When we come back, Blake is workign over E, but Big E quickly gets back into things with a couple of leap frogs and gets him into the Abdominal Stretch. Cutler rushes in but gets taken down with a clothesline, takes Blake down with an elbow. Tag to Kofi who hits the ropes for a Running Splash, earns a 2 count. Kofi springs off the second rope for a dropkick, tag to E, there’s his big ‘ol splash.
Lince Dorado tags himself in, Metalik and Lince with a couple of splashes for a nearfall. Tag to Kofi, double foot stomp to the singled out arm, cover for a 1 count. Kingston whips him to the corner, charges but Blake evades it and lets him hit the buckle, tag to the Miz. Miz stomps Kofi. Charges for a kick right to the face, tag to John Morrison. Pulls him up, double irish whip, Morrison whips Miz into a big clotheslines, Morrison with an awesome Alabama Slam and roll through into a double rope hit driving knee to the face! Nearfall! Morrison quick as hell there. Cutler tags in, back elbow against the ropes, chokes Kofi in the middle rope. Distracts the ref as Ryker nails Kofi with a forearm. Blake tags in, grinds a knee into his face, chinlock cinched in. Kofi fights his way up, Jawbreaker! Cutler charges but Kofi hits the Shuriken, leaps off the apron but is evaded and Blake destroys him with a ruthless suicide dive! Commercial break.
As we come back, Miz and Morrison with a double team, Miz holding Kofi in place for a big Morrison enziguri, nearfall. Morrison mounts Kofi and pounds him. Tag to Blake. Kofi being ganged on now, isolation. Abdominal stretch from Blake. Tag to Cutler who tries to continue the stretch but Kofi hip tosses him away, side steps Blake to the floor, low bridges Cutler to the floor but the Miz stops him! Kofi rolling on the mat, kicks him away and dives for the tag – but the Forgotten Sons pull Big E and Lucha House Party off the apron! Kofi with an SOS to the Miz but he can’t make the pin. Metalik back on the apron asking for the tag. Tag to both him and Morrison, Metalik with a Springboard Crossbody! Gorgeous Springboard Headscissor! King of the Ropes Dropkick, Lince blind tags in, leaps off the top rope but the Sons catch him and try to dump him only for Dorado to land on his feet and get them both with a Handspring Stunner! Metalik tags in, Sunset Flip Bomb to Morrison for a nearfall! Metalik pops Lince up into a Spike Rana!!! Crazy! Metalik with a Moonsault off the second rope, Dorado with a Shooting Star Press! Forgotten Sons break up the pin.
Tossing Metalik to the floor, Kofi with a diving stomp but it’s ducked by Blake, Kofi takes Blake to the outside though. E hoists Cutler up, double team enziguri out of the corner leads to a Midnight Hour attempt but Blake pulls Kofi off the apron to stop that. Miz throws E to the floor, Cutler and Blake with a Reverse DDT/Diving Stomp combo! Powerbombs Kofi onto E to follow up! Metalik up top but Morrison with an enziguri takes him to the floor, Dorado tries a sunset flip for 2, dodges a driving knee for a roll-up for 2! Morrison hoists Dorado onto his shoulders and basically hits a Reverse Regal Roller?! Insane and he tries for Starship Pain! Dorado blocks this but Miz tags himself in, Dorado nails Morrison with a Poison Rana but Miz gets him with a Skull Crushing Finale and gets the pin!
Winners: The Miz, John Morrison & The Forgotten Sons
I cannot believe I was able to recap as much of the last few minutes of that match as I did, that was a mile-a-minute at the conclusion, about as exciting a match as you could possibly have in this atmosphere. Afterwards, Miz, Morrison and the Sons are arguing over who will be the champs come Sunday.
