What would a Rivalry themed week be without someone fighting over Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)? It’s something CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers has been waiting for on some level given his ability to make every woman he meets desire him. Maybe he really is James Bond?
We’re heading back to June 15, 2012 to see our favorite secret agent man try to surprise Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), but there was a little SNAFU.

Gift gone awry
Victor led Sharon out to the Newman stables to surprise her with a horse. He took the trouble to cover her eyes and everything, but when they arrived the stable was empty.
Upset that someone may have stolen the horse, Victor headed to the house to call the police while Sharon waited there in case it had just gotten out and came wandering back.
Of course, the guilty culprit came riding up on Sharon’s present.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) was as venomously pleasant as one would imagine as she and Sharon exchanged the type pf pleasantries CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers would expect from these two. There were some fat jokes, old age comments, and even a few slut shaming opinions were exchanged.
In time, comments weren’t enough for them and Nikki and Sharon began using what was at hand — a water bottle, a bucket, powder, and so on.
Just when it was getting good
Eventually, Victor and a police officer arrived and separated the two, though they felt it was more important to finish settling their differences. When their plans to physically assault each other failed, they turned back to insults until Victor told them both to shut up.
Surprisingly, they didn’t listen but changed tactics. Nikki demanded for Sharon to be arrested for assaulting her, and Sharon demanded that Nikki be arrested for stealing the horse.
The police officer was accommodating to both ladies, informing them that both of them committed arrestable felonies and commenced with the arresting.
Of course, this wouldn’t be the end of things as they were put in the same cell. This got to Nikki enough for her to complain. Guess she expected it to be the Ritz or something, huh?
While Nikki griped, Sharon commented how she was sure Victor would bail her out first. This led to another brief exchange.
What’s really cool about this episode is this confrontation is probably the highlight of the storyline with Victor and Sharon together. It was panned by critics, fans, and even cast members.
