We see from Liv Morgan backstage talking tearfully about her mother. Says she never quit. A couple of weeks ago she had a match against Charlotte Flair, the pride and joy of WWE. Did she win? No. But did she learn? Absolutely. And she learned that she is just like her mother, she’s determined and one day she will become the Raw Women’s Champion.
As you’d expect, out comes Charlotte Flair. Says she doesn’t want to annoy you and talk about how she’s the hardest worker on all three brands, the face of Raw, the mentor on NXT and is even guest starring on SmackDown. She decides that ‘sidekick’ is more offensive than ‘lackey’ when describing Sasha Banks, seems like they’re kinda the same. Charlotte talks about how excited she is for the champion vs champion match. Then moves on to Ruby Riott, says she probably has something to say to her because everyone wants a piece of the Queen. On cue, out Ruby comes to the ring. She stands face-to-face with Charlotte or atleast attempts to, she appears to be roughly half her height.
Charlotte Flair vs. Ruby Riott
Ruby and Charlotte are having a match when we come back from commercial and it’s spilled to the outside. Charlotte posts her and throws her back into the ring. Chokes her against the middle rope. Waves at the camera and asks if Liv Morgan is watching. Takes her into the corner, knee lift to the gut, big chop to the chest. Ruby comes out with a back elbow, headscissor drives her into the second turnbuckle! Ruby on the second rope, springing senton bomb for a nearfall! Slams Charlotte’s hand into the mat, working over the wrist. Charlotte with a forearm to the face, Ruby ducks a shot and hits a Facebuster that Charlotte takes more like a DDT, flipping onto her back! Ruby grabs the fingers, bending them back. Suddenly an Octopus Stretch now with Charlotte slowly standing up and carrying her, Ruby tries to turn it into a Sunset Flip but Charlotte stomps her way free. Ruby avoids a big boot, rolls her up, 2 count! Riot Kick gets blocked, Charlotte just stomps her in the face. Figure Four cinched in and quickly transitioned to the Figure Eight, Charlotte supporting herself on one hand and there’s the submission!

Charlotte continues to be booked strongly, has been for quite a while now.
