Looks like we have a really fun episode ahead of us for the mid-point in Classic Clashes week, and CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers has a fun throwback spoiler ready to go. All we got to do is make sure we have on our stain resistant clothing (snacks will be provided) and we’re set to go.
Coming to us from August 22, 2018, we get to see some familiar faces as one of the best fights of daytime television (in CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers’ opinion) as Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) square off in the food fight of all food fights. Somewhere, the Three Stooges are proud.

Mother knows best
To get things started right, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) arrived in style and with a date at Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton)’s wedding. What makes this even more interesting is since Liam was the apple of Steffy’s eye, she didn’t come with a friend or boytoy. Nope, she made an entrance right with her mother, Taylor, at her side.
While this may seem strange, there was a method to her madness. And that became apparent, more or less, as her mother wore a black dress to the wedding, and wasn’t shy about who she thought Liam should be marrying. The only hint we’ll give is it wasn’t Hope.
Nope, Liam had been bewitched by the love of his life when he was Steffy were on the outs, and Taylor took it upon herself to fix things. First, she spread some gossip about the real bride we just mentioned, then she actually mentioned to Liam, in private, that he should cancel the wedding.
Now that takes stones. Especially, when Taylor’s main rival for Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye)’s affections.
Brooke was very happy for her daughter, as we’d expect any mother to be, and when she caught wind of Taylor’s antics, she moved in.
Brooke and Taylor soon began the dance that’s become synonymous with their relationship, and eventually made their way to the kitchen while hurling insults back and forth. Once away from the main group, they took their positions and readied for some real action.
Piece of cake
Without witnesses, but with easy to figure out details (a couple of masterminds here, huh?), Taylor decided it was time to something extra to the argument. Taylor decided to grab a big chunk of the wedding cake and threw it at Brooke. With the first shot fired, Brooke doesn’t waste any time in retaliating, and the pair are quickly in a brawl as epic as their other ones.
As if slipping and sliding on the cake and icing covered floor, and themselves covered in cake, their endeavor is interrupted by an unexpected pair.
Hope and Steffy stepped into the kitchen to find them fighting, and after calling a halt to the festivities, er, celebration? the mothers apologized for their behavior.
Sounds like the end to things, but Steffy and Hope have a fun idea in mind, and they send the cake-covered pair on a walk of shame to the living room where the reception is being held to face their families.
Given Hope and Steffy would probably fight over Liam like this if given the chance, this is an interested change of pace as they’ve become the adults and their mothers are the children to be disciplined.
This is such a glorious moment, CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers feel it’s safe to say children everywhere would love to have the same opportunity.
