CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers here with the closing throwback spoiler for Classic Clashes theme week. This is a good one, even if it’s not a year old yet. While that’s still a bone of contention, this episode was the end of one of the most anticipated storylines in a few years, and it still had open wounds with fans.
Originally airing on August 5, 2019, this focuses mainly on Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) learning the truth about baby Beth, and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Thomas Forrester (Mathew Atkinson) have an epic clash on the rooftop of Forrester Creations.
It’s a lot of action packed into one episode, but it works really well and makes it one for the ages. It’s the perfect way to close out the storyline and leave us all feeling satisfied.

Gaining clarity
Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri)’s announcement has left a few people stunned, but Liam is the only one that’s willing or ready to leap into action.
His first step is to try to convince Hope their baby is indeed alive. Liam has suffered silently, and has embraced this revelation as the absolute truth even if it came from an eight-year old child. This shows how desperate he is, and thankfully, Douglas wasn’t exaggerating or anything like that.
Still, Hope is slow to come around and Thomas is outside Forrester’s CEO office banging on the door. She starts to believe Liam, but she needs to hear it from Thomas.
Thomas eventually breaks into the office, and after a scuffle with Liam, he takes Hope to the roof to board a helicopter that is conveniently not there. All the while, Hope is asking him about hitting Liam and whether Liam is right.
Round two
Liam arrives on the roof and his fight with Thomas continues, all the while Hope keeps asking Thomas if Liam’s telling the truth. What’s funny here is him telling Hope Liam’s lying is ignored, but him closing his eyes in resignation while in a headlock and possibly choked out is conveyed as proof.
This serves to show how much hope Hope had that her baby was still alive. Hope is said to spring eternal, and this episode shows that perfectly. It’s one of the reasons why this is such a beloved episode even if it’s very recent.
As far as things go, we know Thomas makes another attempt for Hope, as that storyline ended a couple of months before the COVID-19 lockdown, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be back. There’s always a plan forming in his mind, and it helps make the show so much more fun.
After all, good evil mastermind wannabe storylines are always fun, and CBS “The Bold and he Beautiful” Spoilers can’t wait.
