Of course, the Miz had to invite Jeff Hardy onto Miz TV to share his thoughts, and we know how this will work out.
Jeff stood tall last week as a stocked bar was waiting for him in the ring as Sheamus toasted him from the safety of the titantron. Sheamus went up one side and down the other as he mocked Jeff’s addiction struggles in their ongoing feud.
For his part, Jeff seemed to be on the verge of giving in to his demons, but took out his frustration on the bartender instead.
Rub salt in the wound
Of course, this means Jeff would do another interview, so where better to do so than on Miz TV, where the Miz and John Morrison will be quick to offer their thoughts, feelings, and jokes (mainly at Jeff’s expense) while Jeff tries to explain his side of things.
This is assuming it gets this far into the show, which we kinda doubt.
This just feels ripe for the Celtic Warrior to make an appearance and exchange words with Jeff, possibly even setting up a match for later in the show. But it won’t be against Sheamus, oh no.
We expect it’ll be against Morrison or Miz because we have a sneaky suspicion that Sheamus will do his talking through the titantron again, further pushing Jeff’s angst and frustration to new levels.
Help in the right places
Given their previous track record, Miz and Morrison probably won’t want to face off in a one on one, and choose that as a way to dig into Jeff a little bit since he doesn’t have a partner. This will bring someone out and they’ll offer to team with him.
This is all purely speculation, but how cool would it be if it’s the Undertaker? While doubtful, it’d be a nice way to bring things around to Jeff defending his honor a couple of weeks back.
Instead, we can expect it to be Shorty G or another wrestler we haven’t seen for a while. You never know, but the WWE has tried to keep things more surprising lately, so there’s always a chance.
There’s no denying that Jeff’s the brand’s top face being pushed at the moment, so there’s plenty to work with. In fact, given his past issues with King Corbin, would Matt Riddle teaming with Jeff be a possibility?
