Jorge tweeted out to his fans that he wants no one but The Rock to put the belt around his waist if he beats Nate Diaz in the main event at the UFC 244. The Rock’s response? Of course.
The Rock Has Some Words To Say About An Upcoming UFC Event
Johnson replied to the request with, “Doing all I can to make this fight. If I can and you win, I’ll put the belt around your waist at MSG – consider it done. While The Rock is certainly busy with his Hollywood schedule, he often makes big MMA events when his schedule allows him too. But that’s not always easy. Johnson was forced to cut short his honeymoon when he had to fill in for his buddy Kevin Hart at a television interview after the actor and comedian found himself badly injured in a car crash.
Now, whether or not The Rock will make it remains to be seen. Actually, whether or not Jorge Masvidal will even win a belt remains to be seen, too. Either way it’s one fight that no one – including The Rock – is going to want to miss. November 2ndcan’t get her quick enough.
