It has been quite a while since we have been Mansoor in action. The Saudi Arabia born high flyer has been a blooming star within the company, winning huge battle royales and beating men like Cesaro & Dolph Ziggler at the Saudi supershows. However, he is also just part of the NXT roster, and makes the weight to appear on 205 Live. As such, he will face the brash and cocky Tehuti Miles on this weeks episode. Would Mansoor make a splash on his return match?
Tehuti Miles Is As Savy As He Is Cocky
Miles would start the match with some sly kicks to the leg, trying to keep some distance. He’d get early control with a tight side headlock, before sending Mansoor into the ropes and dropping him with a shoulder block. Miles would be tripped and Mansoor would look for a headlock of his own, before they’d end up back on their feet for a standoff.
Mansoor would look for a single leg takedown, and Miles would stop him by grabbing the ropes, and looking for the side headlock again. Once he’d escape, Mansoor would hit some deep armdrags on Miles, until the quicker Miles would stopfor just a moment and catch Mansoor off guard with a knee to the ribs. However, Mansoor would be quick back to his feet, and go through the ropes and back into the ring with an impressive armdrag, before sending Miles to the outside with a lariat.
Miles would grab the legs of Mansoor, and get back in the ring quickly to guillotine his throat on the bottom rope, before looking for strikes in the corner. He’d also choke Mansoor on the middle rope, using every second of the 5 counts.
Mansoor Had No Ring Rust
A big neckbreaker from Miles would lead to a near fall, with the match slipping away from Mansoor. The slower pace would work perfect to stunt the momenteum of his high flying opponent, but he’d need to hurry up and finish the match before Mansoor got some space. Another neckbreaker would lead to another two fall, before locking in a hard side headlock.
Mansoor would break out, and send Miles to the outside, but again Miles would sweep the legs and come back into the ring, this time going for a Boston Crab. A counter into a roll up stopped the submission attempt. Mansoor would rally back, and a manhattan drop into a spinebuster got him going. He’d look to send Miles over the top rope with a lariat but be sent to the apron, but he’d come back with a neckbreaker over the top rope. Miles would end up in position, and Mansoor would look for a moonsault, but Miles dodged and hit a flapjack.
An attempt at a gutwrench powerbomb would be slipped out of, and Mansoor would hit a jumping Enzuguri before getting Miles onto his shoulders, and dropping him on his head for the win.
