Tommaso Ciampa Unhappy With WWE Creative

If you’ve been keeping up with Tommaso Ciampa on his social media platform, you may already know that Tommaso Ciampa isn’t happy with WWE creative at the moment. Although personally, I thought he was just taking one for the team by taking losses and being off TV for a while to give others a chance. This though doesn’t seem to be the case from his comment on Instagram.

Is this a punishment?

Looking at the matches involving Tommaso Ciampa, it actually seems like he hasn’t won a match for a very long time. Then there’s the fact that Tommaso Ciampa has broken a couple of rules over the years making us think it’s the recent losses and the lack of TV time is a form of punishment. 

The rules he’s broken are two-fold. The first being the fact that he said he would rather leave the company than join the so-called main roster. This seems like it wouldn’t really go over well with creative. Knowing that, he’s done near enough everything he can in NXT, it does seem like good timing for him to go to another brand. 

The second rule could be the kind of Twitter feud he had with Randy Orton. With it never being planned and WWE not liking when wrestling makes their own feud without being confirmed before. Even though this is a long shot, it is a rule that has technically been broken. Could this mean that he’s being punished for these two broken rules? Along with the fact Randy Orton is not on Extreme Rules (2020) on the 19 July 2020. Is he being punished for the Twitter feud he and Tommaso Ciampa had? It seems very likely. 

Could it make him leave WWE down the line?

WWE definitely wouldn’t let him leave easily but with him going through a lot to get back in shape to wrestle. There’s no doubt he has a lot of passion for the business. Then there’s the fact that there are a lot of options out there now, especially with the new company AEW.  Although their roster is stacked, Tommaso Ciampa could be an amazing addition. 

Even though currently there are no hints at this. It should be said there’s a lot of rumours of wrestlers wanting to leave and with us getting near to no information on who is there. With this new information on his unhappiness in NXT or WWE as a whole, could it be that Tommaso Ciampa is one of them? Only time will tell where he ends up but wherever he ends up, we will be watching and keep you updated.
