WWE Raw will have three or their four tag teams (not counting Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode) that aren’t champions face each other for a shot at WWE Raw tag team gold at SummerSlam.
While it looks like a great match between Ricochet and Cedric Alexander, Andrade and Angel Garza, and the Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar), we can’t help but feel things are going to go haywire here somehow.
Outside influences
First, Ziggler and Roode haven’t appeared as a team yet, but since Ziggler’s going to face McIntyre, he may not be up to it.
Then there’s the current feud between Ricochet and Cedric Alexander and MVP, Bobby Lashley, and now Shelton Benjamin.
Our guess is MVP will distract Ricochet and Alexander while Benjamin and Lashley go after them. After all, MVP’s wants to make sure his message gets through to them at some point.
If this happens, the match will go back to the current feud between the Viking Raiders and Andrade and Garza.
Not so happy ending
With bodies flying everywhere, it’s going to be hard to keep track of everyone, but it should be interesting and give us a potentially unpleasant ending.
In the end, we expect Andrade and Garza to win.
They’re just so entertaining as a team, it won’t surprise us if they find a way to win, especially if Ricochet and Alexander are removed from the equation.
There’s just so much charisma and chemistry pouring from this due, we think they’ll be an awesome match up for the Street Profits, both in the ring and on the mic.
Plus, there’s Zelina Vega and she adds a whole new dimension. To that end, we expect Bianca Belair to join the Street Profits and begin a feud with Vega.
Of course, this is just our theory on what could happen. We could see Roode and Ziggler interfere as well, and the match could turn into a five way with Benjamin and Lashley joining in.
The way the WWE pulls matches out of the air, would this really be surprising if it happens? The WWE is wacky enough, so they’d entertain the possibility.
Chaos seems to be the rule of the day in the WWE anymore, so we’re looking forward to seeing what happens.
