Hello everyone and welcome to Impact Wrestling LIve Results and Recap!
I’m your host, CP Bialois, and we’re looking a pretty cool night ahead of us with the Good Brothers (Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows) make their Impact Wrestling debut against Reno Scum.
Impact World Champion Eddie Edwards will also defend his title against Trey Miguel of the Rascalz. Better grab snacks now, we don’t want to miss any of this.
Segment 1
We start off with Impact World Championship – Eddie Edwards (c) vs. Trey Miguel
A really good match to start the night off, Eddie Edwards dominated early on, but Trey’s speed even them match as we head to commercial.
Segment 2
Eddie Edwards hit on his second attempt of his Boston Knee Party for the pin and Eric Young came out, but nothing happened.
Wrestle House Premiere
The premiere looks interesting as they are literally trapped there with Tommy Dreamer as their host.
He took a shot at ECW saying he had to use ther checks before they bounce.
This looks like a separate reality that’s set around Rosemary chasing John E. Bravo.
Segment 3
Wrestle House continued with a hlarious segment where everyone raced for the limited room, which featured a comical match between Acey Romero and Crazzy Steve. Acey won and can sleep in the ring. Kylie Rae was the referee.
Rohit Raju instigated a match between TJP and Chris Bey, telling Bey he heard them talking.
Segment 4
This was domintated by promos by Ace Austin and Madman Fulton about the Good Brothers facing Reno Scum (expect some inteferance.)
Josh Alexander of the North cut a promo because Ethan Page in unable to talk without the tag team belts. He promised a rematch,
A flashback match where the Motor City Machine Guns beat Beer Money for the tag team belts.
Segment 5
Heath conned his way into a match with Moose next week, and if he wins he’ll get a roster spot on Impact.
Non-title Match – Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs. Kimber Lee.
A really good match ended with Purrazzo slapping on her armbar for the submission win.
Jordyyn Grace came out after the match and attacked Purrazzo and shoved her out of the ring.
Segment 6
Wrestle House – Cody vs. Cousin Jake.
Another awesomely hilarious segment had Jake snring so loud he kept Cody awake and even woke himself. He accused Cody of snoring and it was on.
Tommy Dreamer called Match Time, but in the morning because he was tired.
Jake won, and it was decided Cody was the one snoring.
Segment 7
Katie Forbes’ big reveal was spoiled y Sami Callihan, as his face covered her pictures and he did a voice over.
This looks like a fun feud between him and RVD going forward.
Segment 8
Rich Swann gave a quick update and said he’ll be in the Impact Zone next week to give a better update.
The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows) vs. Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe and Luster the Legend)
Josh Mathews gave a brief background on the Good Brothers coming together in New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) and their tag team run since.
Segment 9
A decent match, the Good Brothers controled most of the action before winning after hitting a Magic Killer.
Austin and Madman Fulton attacked and the foursome took the fight outside where the show ended following Fulton nailing Gallows.
This was a pretty awesome show, and next week looks stacked with the matches set up.
We really wish they had shown us the rest of the backlot fight, but that’ll be shown next week, we’re sure. We defintitely have a lot to look forward to.
